Las gorditas de alverjón o los tamales de milpa acompañados de un café de olla se disfrutan a cualquier hora del día. Descubrir a qué sabe el tixmole, ese mole de olla que puede estar hecho con carne de res, pollo o cerdo. Y cuando no lleva verduras es porque tal vez contiene “chayotextle”, la raíz del chayote. Tampoco desmerecen las rosquitas, los ladrillos, las trenzas ni los imperiales, esos panecitos que endulzan cada momento. Como tampoco el paladar ignora los vinos artesanales hechos con hierbas de la región y frutas frescas.
