Festival de las Calaveras en honor a la Catrina de Posadas
septiembre 12, 2018 3:05 pm 2 CommentsAdemás de los tradicionales recorridos por el centro y panteones de la ciudad de Aguascalientes, de la exhibición de altares y alegres calaveras literarias; el festival se ha enriquecido en estas décadas con exposiciones de pinturas, grabados y fotografías, presentaciones de danza, conciertos y eventos deportivos; algunos de estos realizados en Isla San Marcos.
Entre lo favorito de los asistentes está la caminata nocturna en el Cerro del Picacho, Ilumínale los pies al muerto; con música, obras de teatro y espectáculos fluorescentes para la noche en este lugar. Pero indudablemente el afamado es el Desfile de las Calaveras, ese andar de cientos de personas caracterizadas, con máscaras o pintadas del rostro que esperan el paso de carros alegóricos, de monumentales calaveras. No hay espacio de esta ciudad que quede absuelta del ambiente vivido en esta celebración.
Artesanías, procesiones, conciertos, puestas en escena, gastronomía, talleres y más son parte de los eventos que en torno a este festival han hecho de Aguascalientes uno de los destinos
más visitados durante la celebración de muertos.
